What you are buying

A matchday briefing for one football fixture, put together for the place you are travelling from. It covers the forecast at kick-off, how to get there and when to leave, pubs near the ground, the bag and entry rules, and where the away end is. You get a web link to it, and an email with the same link if you gave us an address.

It is information, not a booking. We do not sell you tickets, travel or accommodation, and we are not an agent for anyone who does.

Price and payment

• Single Brief, £2.99. Perfect for a one-off away day. Pay, open the brief, go.
• Group Brief, £7.99. Going with mates? One brief, shared link for everyone.
• Away Regular: 6 Briefs, £14.99. Six briefs to use any time this season. Never overpay.

Prices include any tax due. Payment is a one-off charge taken by Stripe. There is no subscription and nothing renews on its own.

Delivery

Your brief is generated the moment your payment clears, normally within a few seconds. If a page seems stuck, check your email: the link is sent as soon as the brief is written, so a slow page never costs you the brief.

Briefs stay available for 90 days. Away Regular credits last 12 months from purchase.

How accurate this is, and where it stops

We take this part seriously, so here is the honest version. The ground information comes from clubs' own published guidance wherever we can get it, and we record where every fact came from and when we last checked it. Weather, travel and pub data come from live services at the moment your brief is built.

Clubs still change things. Away allocations move between stands, turnstiles get renumbered, bag rules tighten for a particular fixture, and pubs change hands. Engineering works and police instructions can rewrite a journey on the day.

So treat your brief as a well-researched starting point, not as the final word. Before you travel, check your ticket and the club's own visiting-supporters page for anything that would ruin your day if it were wrong, and check your operator for live travel. We cannot accept responsibility for a missed train, a refused bag or a closed stand.

Refunds

If your brief is wrong, unusable, or plainly not what was described, email us and we will refund it. No form, no argument. Send the brief link to james@awaydaybrief.com and tell us what was wrong, which also helps us fix the underlying data for the next person.

A refunded brief stops working, and a refunded Away Regular pack loses its remaining credits.

Because this is digital content delivered immediately, we would rather offer that plainly than hide behind the usual small print about losing your cancellation rights. If you think you are owed a refund, ask.

Sharing your brief

Your brief link has no password on it, so you can send it to everyone you are travelling with. That is the point, and the Group Brief exists for exactly that. What we ask is that you do not republish briefs as your own content or scrape the site to rebuild the data elsewhere.

If something goes wrong

We will always try to put it right. Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to a product that matches its description.

Changes

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published when you bought.
