Molineux away guide

Wolverhampton Wanderers away end

Away fans are in the lower tier of the Steve Bull Stand, which runs along one side of the pitch, in at Turnstile Block 3. The back 3 rows, M, N and P, are licensed standing, which means rail seats and not a terrace: you still have an allocated seat on your ticket. On rare occasions Wolves put visiting fans in blocks NL5, NL6, NU5, NU6 and NU7 of the Stan Cullis Stand instead, so check the block on your ticket before you decide which side of the ground to walk to. Getting in works the same way at those turnstiles. Getting in is a staged queue rather than a straight walk to a turnstile: tickets are checked at 2 cordons, then there's a body and bag search, then the scan. Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off, 75 for a midweek game, and Wolves ask you to be in your seat half an hour before.

Molineux bag policy

Molineux does not permit bags larger than A4. Security and bag searches take place at the turnstiles before entry, and you may be asked to open your own bag.

Getting to Molineux: nearest station

Wolverhampton station is 1.1km from the ground, which Wolves call a 15-minute walk, on West Midlands Trains from London and across the West Midlands. The bus station is closer still at 1km and 12 minutes. The West Midlands Metro runs into Wolverhampton station from Birmingham every 6 to 8 minutes through the day. Do not bank on drinking near the station: Wolves say most city-centre pubs are home-only and will ask for a home ticket, with Twelve the exception. The official Fan Zone next to the Sir Jack Hayward Stand, at Turnstile Block 5, does let away fans in.
