The away section is in the East Stand, in through turnstiles 53 to 61. They open 90 minutes before a lunchtime or afternoon kick-off, or 6.30pm for a 7.45pm start. Stewards search on the way in and they are thorough about it, so leave time.

Middlesbrough station on Albert Road is a 10 to 15 minute walk, with direct services from York, Leeds and Manchester. There is no bus that runs to the ground itself, and the bus station is a 25-minute walk, so the train is the easier shout. Roads by the ground close up to an hour before kick-off and for half an hour after the whistle.
