Old Trafford
Home of Manchester United in Manchester. Away fans are in the South Stand lower tier. There's no great pub right by the ground, drink in central Manchester and take the tram in.
Away fan guide
Away fans are in the South Stand, Lower Tier, the corner section where the South and East stands meet. Away turnstiles are off Sir Matt Busby Way and signposted on the day.
Bags bigger than A4 (210mm × 297mm) aren't allowed in, and there's no bag drop at the ground, leave anything larger at your hotel or the station. All permitted bags are searched on entry.
Old Trafford Metrolink stop (Altrincham line) is a 7-minute walk to the away turnstiles; Wharfside is a similar distance. From Manchester Piccadilly it's roughly 25 minutes on foot, or two stops on the tram.
