Old Trafford
Home of Manchester United in Manchester, capacity 74,310. Away fans are in the South Stand lower tier. There's no great pub right by the ground, drink in central Manchester and take the tram in.
Old Trafford away guide
United put the away turnstiles in the south east corner of the ground, where the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand meets the East Stand, and they open two hours before kick-off. If a ticket has gone missing, duplicates come from Supporter Services in car park W2 from four hours before kick-off, on photo ID, and only after your own club has authorised the reprint.
Old Trafford is stricter than most: nothing bigger than 20cm by 15cm by 5cm, so A5 rather than the A4 you get away with elsewhere. Anything larger has to go to one of the bag drops, £5 and card only, with the away one in the E2 car park. Medical kit and baby-changing bags are the exceptions.

Old Trafford Metrolink stop (Altrincham line) is a 7-minute walk to the away turnstiles; Wharfside is a similar distance. From Manchester Piccadilly it's roughly 25 minutes on foot, or two stops on the tram.
