Away fans are in the Little East Stand, block E1, which has its own concourse and toilets. If your club sells plenty, Chesterfield open blocks E2 and E3 as well. Two things to know before you set off: anyone under 14 needs an adult over 18 with them and stewards do ask under-14s who that adult is, and a drum is fine for away fans as long as you tell the stewards at the gate, since you may be sent through a side door instead of the turnstile.

Chesterfield ask supporters not to bring unnecessary bags to the SMH Group Stadium. Reducing bag searches helps supporters get through the turnstiles more quickly.

Chesterfield station is about 30 minutes on foot and the club's route is not the obvious one: take the Stonegravels Way footpath across the dual carriageway, right down the steps onto Infirmary Road past the college, straight on along Canal Wharf, then bear right at Hazlehurst Lane onto the footpath beside the dual carriageway, which runs past the Casa Hotel and comes out on Lockoford Lane with the ground in front of you. A taxi from the station is about £7. Parking at the ground is £12 and pre-book only, and it sells out, but there's a Tesco Extra 100 metres away you can book through YourParkingSpace.
