Nigel Eady County Ground away guide
Away fans are in the Arkells Stand, which holds 1,305, and Swindon open the Stratton Bank as an overflow when a bigger following travels: that holds another 2,179. How much of it you get depends on how they segregate the day. There are 10 wheelchair spaces for away fans at the front of the stand, under cover. The away end is cashless, so bring a card: the kiosk in the Arkells concourse does hot food and drinks until 15 minutes into the second half, and there is a bar for away fans by the away turnstiles, open from 12 o'clock on a Saturday and 6 o'clock for an evening game. Tesco round the corner from the Arkells has a free cash machine if you need one.
The County Ground does not permit bags larger than A4. All bags are subject to search at entry.

Swindon station is about 10 minutes on foot, the club's own figure. Their route turns left out of the front into Station Road, right into Corporation Street facing the White House, left at the lights onto Manchester Road, then right into County Road, and the ground entrance is the second left. That takes you past the Brunel-built Railway Village and its pubs. Direct GWR services from London Paddington take 60 minutes, and it is 45 from Bristol Temple Meads. Buses stop on Queens Drive and Fleming Way: the 1A, 5, 13, 14 and 23. Driving, it is M4 junction 15 then the A4259 and Queens Drive. Matchday parking at the ground is very limited and has to be arranged with the club in advance.
