Boundary Park
Home of Oldham Athletic in Oldham, capacity 10,638. Away fans are in the Chadderton Road End, in at turnstiles 3 to 8 or 36 to 39. No railway station worth using, so it is the tram.
Boundary Park away guide
Away fans are in the Viking Direct Chadderton Road End, which has an upper and a lower tier, and you go in at turnstiles 3 to 8 or 36 to 39. Those turnstile numbers are the bit to hold on to, because the club put them on their parking page but never name the stand in writing. It is the end furthest from the Joe Royle Stand, so ignore any sign pointing you round to the Broadway side.
Oldham do not publish a bag rule for Boundary Park, so travel light and expect to be searched on the way in.
Based on standard Football League ground policy. Check the club's official site before travel.
Do not plan on the train. The nearest station is Mills Hill and the club call that a 50-minute walk, so they tell visitors to use the tram instead. Metrolink from Manchester Victoria takes about 20 minutes, and Westwood and Oldham King Street are the closest stops, both around a 20-minute walk from the ground. All the Oldham stops sit in zone 3, so a 1+2+3 single is £3.80 or £4.30 for an off-peak day travelcard, and you can tap in with a contactless card. Buses stop at Sheepfoot Lane (the 149 and 159) and at the Royal Oldham Hospital on Rochdale Road (the 181, 182, 183, 402 and 409), capped at £2 a single or £5 for a day. Oldham bus station is a seven-minute walk from the Oldham King Street tram stop. From the town centre it is just over a mile and the club put the walk at a bit over 20 minutes. Driving, away supporters are pointed at the Hospital Car Park on Westhulme Avenue at £6, five minutes from turnstiles 3 to 8, with a steward on hand, and the sat nav postcode is OL1 2PB. Expect the A571 Oldham Road to be slow before kick-off and Broadway westbound to be slow after it.
