Cardiff City Stadium
Home of Cardiff City in Cardiff, capacity 33,316. The away section is safe standing, so you can legally stand for the whole game. Cardiff Central is a proper city-break station with a short Valley Line hop to Ninian Park.
Cardiff City Stadium away guide
Away supporters go in through Gate 12, which the club's stadium map marks as the away supporters' entrance. The away section is designated safe standing, so unlike most grounds you can legally stand for the full 90 without a steward asking you to sit. Two rules here catch people out: Cardiff do not allow musical instruments or megaphones at all, and banners have to be under 8ft by 4ft with a fire certificate. Under-13s cannot come unaccompanied. Tickets are not usually sold on the day, so buy through your own club, and if something goes wrong the supporter liaison officer is on slo@cardiffcityfc.co.uk or 07903 619 654.
Cardiff ask supporters to avoid bringing bulky items or large bags. Everything brought to the stadium is thoroughly searched and some items may be refused entry.

Ninian Park is the closest station at about 5 minutes from the ground, with Valley Line trains running from Cardiff Central every 30 minutes on matchdays. From Cardiff Central itself the club call it a 25-minute walk or a 10-minute taxi, and a cab from the city centre runs £7 to £10. Direct trains from London Paddington take just under 2 hours. Driving, the away compound is car park sector V, reached off Sloper Road and then Clos Parc Morgannwg, sat nav CF11 8AW or what3words torch.retail.gaps. It is £10 cash on the gate, no pre-booking, first come first served, and the same £10 for blue badge holders. Coaches and minibuses park free inside the compound and get out quickly afterwards, but the gates shut 30 minutes before kick-off, so do not cut it fine. Do not use the retail park next door: Cardiff warn that wardens fine matchday vehicles there.
