Anfield

You're in the Anfield Road end behind the goal, in the lower AL blocks. Liverpool have fitted rails through rows 6 to 35, so it is a licensed safe standing area and you may be asked to show your ticket on the way in. Visiting fans enter at entrances Q and R, approaching Anfield Road from the 97 Avenue direction. Turnstiles open two hours before kick-off and there is alcohol on the away concourse. Wheelchair bays are in front of the away seats in blocks AL8 and AL9.

A5 only, about the size of a paperback and smaller than most grounds take. Superstore purchases in the clear carrier are fine. There's no storage at Anfield, and an oversized medical bag needs 48 hours' notice.

The Soccerbus runs from Sandhills station to the ground, from 2 hours before kick-off until 90 minutes after full-time. From the city centre the 917 express leaves Commutation Row near Lime Street and takes about 15 minutes, with return buses stacked on Walton Lane. The 926 starts 3 and a half hours before kick-off from Liverpool ONE, and the 927 runs back from St Domingo Road after the game.
