Abbey Stadium
Home of Cambridge United in Cambridge, capacity 8,127. Away fans are in the South Habbin Stand. Cambridge is a proper away day even without the football, build in time for the town.
Abbey Stadium away guide
The away allocation sits in the South Habbin Stand, behind the goal. The block runs across the traditional terraced end. Cambridge typically offer around 1,500 to 1,800 away places for league fixtures, limited by the Abbey's 8,100 capacity. Away turnstiles are off Newmarket Road, signposted on the walk in from the Wrestlers pub.
Cambridge United permit bags, but not suitcases or large holdalls. All bags are subject to search at the Cledara Abbey Stadium.
Checked 26 May 2026 against Cambridge United permitted and prohibited items.
Cambridge station is about a 30-minute walk through Parker's Piece and Midsummer Common, the pretty route to the ground. The Citi 1 bus from town runs roughly every 10 minutes and drops near the away end. Direct trains from London King's Cross take 50 minutes. Driving in off the A14 is easy, park-and-ride at Newmarket Road is the smart matchday call.
