Away turnstiles are at block 24 on the North Stand, in the north east corner. Come into the stadium footprint through Gate E, the nearest gate to the away coaches and the turnstiles, and allow a few minutes: there are ticket checks, searches and sniffer dogs on the way in. Turnstiles open two hours before kick-off and the Budweiser Plaza an hour before that. The away ticket office sits next to turnstile 24 and opens three hours before kick-off, but duplicates have to be arranged through your own club first.

Nothing bigger than A4 gets in. There's a bag drop behind the Accreditation hub on the Budweiser Plaza at £20 a bag, otherwise anything oversized goes back off site. Medical and access needs go through Everton's baggage exemption.

Sandhills is the closest station and Everton put it at about a 15-minute walk, with extra and longer trains laid on. Coming in from the mainline you change in the city centre rather than walking it. The catch is getting home: the club themselves say that when Sandhills station backs up after the game you may prefer to walk on to Bank Hall, James Street or Moorfields, which they put at 25 to 30 minutes. Four commercially operated shuttle buses run from five hours before kick-off, the 919 from Commutation Row near Lime Street every 10 minutes, and the club note the operators do better on the way in than the way back. There is also a matchday Mersey Ferries shuttle from Seacombe to the Pier Head, again a 30-minute walk out. Regent Road and Waterloo Road close to traffic on the approach, and Everton say away fans can look for a pub along Regent Road but entry is down to each venue.
