You're in Level 7 of the Leazes Stand, normally through turnstiles 91 to 94, and it is a steep climb: Newcastle count 140 steps and 14 landings from the turnstile up to the seats. If that is not for you, say so to a steward at the turnstile and they will put you in a lift. Turnstiles open 90 minutes before kick-off, and Level 7 has accessible seating and wheelchair bays of its own.
St James' Park allows bags up to A4 size. All bags are searched before entry, and larger bags need a medical exemption agreed in advance.

St James Metro station comes up right outside the stadium, you can't get closer. Newcastle Central is a 10-minute walk if you're arriving on a mainline train.
