Away fans are in the Calisen North Stand at this all-seater ground. For bigger followings Wigan open The Marquee underneath that stand, a free lounge holding up to 450 on production of a valid away ticket, with hot food and drink to buy. One drum is allowed in if you email the club beforehand, and flags are fine without poles. The lists of banned items are posted above every turnstile.

Bags larger than A4 (210mm × 297mm) aren't permitted and there's no bag storage at the ground. All bags are searched on entry.

The ground sits about a kilometre from Wigan town centre, with Wigan North Western and Wigan Wallgate side by side and both roughly a 20-minute walk. Away supporters are pointed at Car Park 1, off Stadium Way at WN5 0UN, at £7 a car, £13 a minibus and £24 a coach, and it is card only. The club warn against the neighbouring retail park and the residential streets, where you will be fined. Buses 601 to 604 run from Wigan Bus Station. Driving, it is M6 J25 from the north, J27 from the south, or M61 J6.
