Away fans are in blocks R30 to R32 of the South Stand, or GU1 to GU3 in the Upper West Stand, and which one depends on the allocation for your game. The gates differ, so read the ticket: Gate 10 for the South Stand, Gate 11 for the Upper West. Wheelchair access is Gate 10, with the accessible seating and wheelchair bays in R30, R31 and R32. The whole place is cashless, the campus outside included, so do not turn up with notes. Instruments are not allowed in, and a flag needs a flame-resistant certification sticker. It is a no smoking ground, but there is a secure compound outside for half time, with refreshments.

Bags larger than A4 (210mm × 297mm) aren't permitted and there's no bag storage at the ground. All bags are searched on entry.

Reading station is too far to walk and the club run a shuttle for it: the F1 goes from the station from two hours before kick-off, at least a dozen buses, and keeps running until an hour and three quarters after the final whistle. A taxi from the station or the town centre is about £15. Driving, come off the M4 at J11 and the ground is on your left inside a mile, sat nav RG2 0FL. The club's own recommendation for visiting supporters is Mereoak Park and Ride, RG2 9FW, where parking is free and the F3 shuttle is £7.50 return for an adult and £5.50 for under 19s. If you want the stadium car park it is £10 booked ahead or £15 on the day, in off Northern Way with B&Q on your left. Direct trains from London Paddington take 30 minutes.
