bet365 Stadium away guide

Stoke City away end

Away fans are in the South East Corner, the infill that joins the Tile Mountain and Caldwell Construction stands, and the club's own booklet calls it the visiting supporters section of the Tile Mountain Stand. Some of the away area is licensed standing rather than seating, so check which your ticket is. Away supporters walk in on their own footpath to the corner turnstiles, away from the home routes, and they open about an hour and a half before kick-off. Away coaches use the South Car Park.

bet365 Stadium bag policy

Stoke's ground regulations ban bags and suitcases outright, while their match packs allow nothing bigger than A4, searched on the way in. Bring no bag and you skip the argument.

Checked 6 Aug 2026 against Stoke City ground regulations.

Getting to bet365 Stadium: nearest station

Stoke-on-Trent station is two miles out, about 40 minutes on foot, and the club's own route is the canal towpath rather than the main road. The 20 bus runs from Hanley bus station past the railway station and Stoke town on its way to the ground. Away fans coming in by train are often met by police, taken to a pub near the University of Staffordshire and bussed up from there, with buses back to the station after the whistle. Driving, it is five minutes off the M6 at junction 15.

  • The TerracePub on Leek Road, a few minutes from Stoke-on-Trent station, with the sport on and food served. It is a long way from the ground, so treat it as your stop off the train rather than a pre-match local
  • The WheatsheafReal-ale pub on London Road near Stoke-on-Trent station, the right starting point off the train rather than somewhere close to the ground
  • The GlebePub in Stoke town centre, a Plan B if the Wheatsheaf is full, and the same two miles out from the ground as the rest of town
